An Ethical Framework for Adoption in Ireland was launched in December 2009 by the Council of Irish Adoption Agencies. This Ethical Framework takes as its basis, the International Social Services (I.S.S.) document titled, The Rights of the Child in Internal and International Adoption (1999 – 2004).
